Hosting & Domains Web Design & Development Website Management
Domains are registered at registry level as soon as you complete the checkout process with us. It can take up to 72 hours for a domain name to become visible on the internet as it globally updates. This applies for all domain names regardless of extension or registrar. However, in the majority of cases your domain name will be live within a few hours.

There’s a couple of different ways:

UK domains (all domains that end .uk)

  • Update the IPS Tag to STACK at the current host.
  • Complete the transfer from the ‘Transfer a Domain’ option in your account control panel.

gTLD domains (ending in .com, .net, .org and most other domains)

  1. Ask your current domain provider for the domain name authorisation code.
  2. Log in to your account at My20i and click ‘Transfer a Domain’.
  3. Enter the domain name and click ‘Search’.
  4. Add the domain to your basket and complete checkout.
  5. An email will be sent to the email address listed as the admin contact.
  6. Follow the link in this email and approve the transfer by entering the authorisation code.
  7. Once authorised, the transfer will complete automatically within 5 days.
Your domain name is set to renew automatically so you don’t have to worry about remembering it yourself! If you prefer not to auto-renew, you can change this from your control panel.

.uk domains are transferred instantly, so they’ll appear in your My20i account straight away.

.com, .net, .org and most other domains take 5-7 days to transfer. Your website and emails remain live during this time – this is just the time it takes the registry to process the transfer.

Head to Pending Domain Transfers within your control panel account. You may see a couple of different statuses:

Pending Owner Approval – In the case where an authorisation code (EPP) hasn’t been provided with the transfer of the domain, the registry will send an approval email to the admin email address. Follow the instructions in the email so the transfer can move to the next stage.

Pending Registry Approval – Once the domain transfer has been verified either by an authorisation code (EPP) or approval email then we must wait for final confirmation from the previous registrar. There isn’t anything you need to do. The transfer will complete usually within five to seven days.

When a transfer completes it’ll be removed from the Pending Domain Transfer page. You’ll then be able to manage it from the Manage Domains page.

We call these spikes the ‘Dragons’ Den Effect’.

Your website will be hosted in one of our data centres in the Midlands, UK. Public content from the site will be stored in servers around the world by our free CDN.

Our state-of-the-art data centres offer the latest in security and environmental technologies and are manned 24/7, ensuring your data and websites are secure and monitored at all times. We have a resilient national network and an enterprise-level cloud platform so you get the best possible hosting experience.

Your email is hosted on separate servers to the website, so that any problems or unexpected load from email doesn’t affect the performance of your site.

Our aim is to get your website live ASAP. The exact timeframe depends on how quickly you can provide the information we need. In most circumstances, we suggest 2-4 weeks until completion (but usually much sooner). We also need to take into consideration any domain name transfers and 3rd party logo design or copywriting that may be required.
We accept Direct Debit as well as all major credit/debit cards. You have full control over your payments under your control panel and all Direct Debit payments are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
Yes, once payment for website is received in full, the site and content will all be yours. Please note that stock images may have 3rd party copyright and there are ongoing licenses for software development involved. If for any reason you need to move away from our services or close your website, we’ll do our best to help and you’ll receive copies of all content for your records. All we ask is that we can use screenshots and descriptions for our portfolio.
If you’d like any changes, additions, or alterations to your website, simply email and we’ll sort it out for you.
We recommend all sites are refreshed from new. All our websites are built from the ground up with the latest frameworks and technologies using our secure custom hosting environment. This allows us to ensure your site is fully up-to-date with current standards and that SEO will work for you. If you have existing content, images, menus, etc. then the process is really simple and your current website can be copied to your new version.
